Inspiring Scholars is a program for Butte College students who were in foster care on or after their 13th birtday and are under the age of 26. The goal of Inspiring Scholars is to help students get into college, stay in college, and reach their academic goals- be that an associate's degree or transfer to another college or university. By getting involved with Inspiring Scholars, students can benefit from dedicated academic counseling, a computer lab, drop-in appointments, help with financial aid, community with other students who have been in foster care, mentoring, and free snacks!
